In 2005 we bought a wonderful piece of land (4.5 ha) in Figueiró dos Vinhos - really a jewel. Our friends have continuously been confirming that. Pieces of land of that kind normally remain within the local families, this too was confirmed. The buying process was not simple. The former owner had died unexpectedly and the inheritance situation with its various heirs was complicated. Moreover, the heirs were living all over the globe. Markus Boesch managed to resolve all this with his patience and his special feeling for the situation. With this he made the "contrato de compra e venda" possible for us - and the development of our tourism projects.

Since then we have restored one of the old houses: and an attractive holiday cottage came into being, a "Casa de Campo". A spacious new construction followed, with high-quality guest rooms and an apartment for ourselves. The next project is coming up: the restoration of the second old house.
